"Noah is so loving your class. I can't even begin to tell you. He dances everywhere and we started calling him "Happy Feet"! You guys are the best!", Marcia & Karim
"Just wanted to send a note to thank you. Caitlin is so happy in your school and is proudly showing everyone what she is learning. Of course I am hearing "it's about time!" from all the relatives. I enjoyed going through your website and learning about you and the academy. You've accomplished so much. And it's wonderful about Peter Smith's new position. It was nice to know that you enjoyed the articles and old photos. My aunt was thrilled to know that there are some Irish dancers today that have heard of her father." Regards..................Eileen C. (grand-daughter of legendary Professor McKenna)
"Reflecting on this Irish Dancing "thing" that entered into our daughters' lives just a few years ago, I wanted to tell you that you should be proud of your accomplishments - and I'm not referring to the "wins". As you may suspect, you have a tremendous effect on the girls, and, more than teaching them the steps, you have taught them important lessons in life, such as self-confidence, team-building, perseverance, etc., that will serve them well as they grow older. As a parent, I could not be more grateful for what you have accomplished. Keep it up!"........................Lyan R.
"Michael, Nicola and Pat, Congratulations! And thank you for all your hard work. The girls were absolutely breathtaking and as a parent I could not have been more proud.
Your leadership, attention to
detail and calming support has helped to mold these girls into strong and
determined future women. They learned more from the Oireachtas than any of us,
as parents, could ever teach them. They had to learn to move as one
mind..........you taught them that..........they had to learn to support each
other..........you taught them that..........they had to learn that there was
something bigger than each individual and that only if they worked to help each
other be the best they could be then they could attain their goal.........you
taught them that..........they learned to gracefully accept the disappointment
in not getting that number one..........you taught them that.........And they
learned how to gracefully enjoy the sweetness of the accomplishment they
attained.........Thank you.
To Katie you are more than teachers, you are people she respects and truly cares
about very deeply. I am proud you have chosen to accept that role for her
and continue to help her far more than words will ever be able to tell you.
Many, Many Thanks and Congratulations.
There may not be a silver cup but there are 11 little girls that are going to try very hard to get 'em next time."............One Very Proud Breffni Mom, Mary H.
"Nicola, We just wanted to say again a hearty CONGRATULATIONS for your big win at the Championships. What a wonderful moment to see your number called for First place! YOU DID IT! Your hard work and amazing comeback proves you're a true champion, and an inspiration to us all. (Especially Erin and Alison!) Here's wishing you all the best in the coming months as you prepare for the World Championships in Scotland. We couldn't be happier for you!".......Love, Erin, Alison, Leisa and Michael
"Michael, Nicola and Pat Congratulations!!!!!!!! You are the greatest. I'm so sorry that I was not able to stay for Sunday's events, but I thought of you all day, and had a chat with St. Anthony. I'm so proud of all the Breffni dancers, they are just wonderful. As for you Nicola, I could have watched you dance all day. You are beautiful and deserved to win the title. I can't wait to see the photographs. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication".....Rosemary
"Congratulations to our Breffni Academy Teachers. Without you, last weekend wouldn't have been possible! We're all still on cloud 9 from the Oireachtas. What an unbelievable experience!"............ Leisa
"Michael, Nicola and Pat, You all have to be congratulated. Team Breffni is fantastic. In my book they are # 1, and the costumes are gorgeous. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that I attended the dress rehearsal on Sunday afternoon. It made my week-end. I'm so proud to be a small part of the greatest dance academy around"..........Rosemary
"It has been a great experience for Sarah and she has really enjoyed being part of the "first ever" Breffni team. It has brought the girls together and has taught Sarah a lot both personally and as a member of a team"...........Stephanie
"Congratulations again on the fine showing at the 2001 Southern Region "Oireachtas". A week ago, I never heard the word. But now, it's my new favorite word. I particularly enjoyed the sight of Nicola with our young dancers immediately after her set piece. Everyone in that room now knows more about motivation, hard work and the fruits of determination. What a treat! Thanks and thanks again" Brian W.
"Michael, I wanted to express that I have been very pleased with my decision in joining a bit over a year ago - you and the rest of the staff are wonderful, and are very patient. We are glad to be a part of such a wonderful group" Pattie R.
